I don’t believe in god. I wouldn’t call myself an atheist, but I don’t believe in any sort of higher power. And if that makes people hate me, not want to be my friend or not want to talk to me, then that’s fine. Religion doesn’t define who I am, a lack of religion doesn’t define who I am either. I don’t question you and your beliefs. Don’t question mine. I have reasons to be this way, as I’m sure people have reasons to believe in a higher power. My mom always told me to never discuss politics and religion with people because the ending factor will never end well, majority of the time. I never look down on anyone who believes in things, I never treat them differently. Believe what you want, as long as you’re happy. But I expect the same respect. I’ve had crushes on people that stop talking to me because of my lack of religious beliefs. That leaves me mind blown that people do that. I’m not an alien, rapist, thief, murderer or anything. I’m a human being, living my life, trying to make it. Just like everyone else. Stop coming at me like you’re better than me or I’m ignorant. Just because I have a different belief than you. I’d never question a persons beliefs. Please respect mine.
